Brooke’s Story
A huge congratulations to Brooke Lyons from Sussex Hair Academy. Brooke entered the HABIA competition #habiafest and won! The criteria was to see what inspired the next generation of stylists, the theme was festival. Brooke researched 2019’s festival looks to see what was current as trends change so often. This year was all about adding bright colours to hair, plaiting and adding gems. Habia announced on 5th September via social media that Brooke had one first place with her two looks that she completed.
Brooke felt that is was important to use both male and female models as all through her research she found it was solely female based. She added colour and vibrancy to both her models to make them stand out.
Brooke completed her Level 2 with Louise and Sarah ( her educators ) after taking a year out to build her clientele as a full time stylist at Jimmy Chop Chop in Crawley she felt she was ready to move on to her Level 3.
Well done Brooke, this shows hard work pays off, we are looking forward to hearing about your future achievements.
