The Princess Royal Trust for Carers A source of support for people caring at home for family members or friends with disabilities and chronic illness. This trust is the largest provider of comprehensive carers support services in the UK, providing quality information, advice and support services to almost 354,000 carers. Local Safeguarding children boards |
Local Safeguarding Children Boards – Every Child Matters Children can only be safeguarded properly if the key agencies work effectively together. Local safeguarding children boards (LSCBs) are designed to help ensure that this happens. They out the former area child protection committees (ACPCs) on a statuary footing. The core membership of LSCBs is set out in the Children Act 2004, and includes local authorities, health bodies, the police and others.
